A Soulless Act of Destruction!

     Today I learned of the destruction of these eight year old pine trees planted along the Towradgi Beach walk, NSW, Australia. They were doing no one any harm and even full grown would not have blocked anyone's view of the sea. 

     One tree was deliberately chopped down and another damaged by a saw. And yes, trees do bleed!

      Trees that should have had a much longer life have been marked for destruction.

    All these trees have had their roots poisoned deliberately and so will have to be removed. What's more, this according to council workers isn't the first time this has happened. There are now people living in the Illawarra I am not proud to know on any level.
