Capertee Valley expedition not far from Lithgow in May
Not as cold as one might have expected it to have been.
Among the birds seen were Jacky Winters.
There were also zebra finches and babblers.
The sign over the fireplace at the homestead where we stayed had a sign that read no shooting. I had been shooting all day and the next with my camera.
The double-barred finches were a treat.
At night we came across rampaging wombats and a boobook owl.

An eclipse of the moon occurred from between 9pm and 10pm.
I captured some of the action in the Illawarra.

Gusty winds but, apart from that, a good day out.
